Tesla Shanghai Plant
Tesla has started hiring for its new Shanghai Plant, barely a month following Electric Vehicle maker signed the deal with the Shanghai officials to set up its first production facility outside the US for the $2 Billion. The company has begun hiring for its new Shanghai factory, according to career postings on its website. The automaker’s website showed it is looking to fill 14 positions including designer and senior finance manager. Most of the jobs are superior in level and need at least six years of experience.
The new Tesla plant will help the company to grow the scope of the Electric Vehicle production. Elon Musk (Chief Executive of Tesla) said the new plant would cost around $2 Billion. Tesla has said it wants to produce the first cars at the plant about two years after building begins, reaching as many as 500,000 vehicles a year about two to three years later.
